Our company
Jingmai Biotech is based in the Wujiang High-Tech Zone of Suzhou. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Jingfang Biotech in Shanghai, is located in the Zero Bay area near Shanghai Jiao Tong University. GENEFUND is the service brand and the name of its WeChat account.
The company provides high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics services for hospitals, biopharmaceutical companies and research institutions. The company received angel financing in 2020 and recognition under a Jiangsu science and technology talent program in the same year.

The founding team brings academic and professional experience from institutions in the United States, Europe and China, spanning genetics, genomics, informatics, statistics and computer science. Research and laboratory staff, data analysts and project-facing colleagues work together from samples and experiments through computation and result discussion.

Sequencing Sales EngineerView responsibilities and requirements¥6500–15000 / month+
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in biology, medicine, pharmacy, chemistry or a related field, with an understanding of genomics and sequencing.
- Sequencing sales experience, communication and analytical skills, teamwork and reliability. An existing client network is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Promote services, develop and maintain regional client relationships and progress sales objectives.
- Collect client requirements and market feedback, and support discussions of technical plans and services.
Sales AssistantView responsibilities and requirements¥5500–8000 / month+
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in biology, medicine, pharmacy or a related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Support client relationships, development, contracts and project tracking.
- Assist with communications, campaigns, WeChat and website content, and sales support.
R&D EngineerView responsibilities and requirements¥8500–15000 / month+
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in a relevant field, with research and laboratory training and sequencing or omics expertise.
- Publications are preferred. Degree requirements may be discussed for candidates with substantial relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop NGS library methods and provide technical support.
- Contribute to NGS liquid-biopsy and other relevant R&D. Incentives for significant research assignments are discussed during recruitment.
Laboratory EngineerView responsibilities and requirements¥6000–10000 / month+
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field, with basic genomics knowledge.
- Laboratory experience, careful workflow execution and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and construct sequencing libraries.
- Support epigenomics, transcriptomics and whole-exome experiments and quality assessment.
Operations AssistantView responsibilities and requirements¥5500–8000 / month+
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Track projects and prepare sales statistics and daily, monthly and annual reports.
- Monitor and analyze operational data, and support recruitment, company communications and daily operations.
Bioinformatics EngineerView responsibilities and requirements¥6000–12000 / month+
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in bioinformatics or a related field, with the ability to read scientific literature in English.
- Experience with Linux, Python or R and common bioinformatics tools and databases. Sequencing analysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Analyze ChIP, RNA, ATAC and other datasets, produce reports and carry out custom analyses.
- Review reports, investigate atypical projects and provide technical support and interpretation.
